Email and SMS campaigns for a chiropractic practice
Reactivation is the highest-return thing on this entire list and almost nobody does it. Every established practice has between 400 and 3,000 inactive patients who finished a plan or quietly stopped at visit nine and have not heard from the office since. They already trust you, they are already in the system, and there is no acquisition cost at all.
The campaign is unglamorous. Pull everyone last seen six to twenty-four months ago. Send a plain letter from the doctor, three or four sentences, no graphics, asking how their back has been and mentioning that re-exams are open. First-pass booking runs 3% to 8%, so a list of a thousand produces thirty to eighty appointments.
After that, a rhythm: one plain email a month, one seasonal text a quarter timed to shoveling, yard work or race training.
The rules are strict and easy. Written consent for SMS, an unsubscribe on every email, no condition or treatment detail in a subject line, and a business associate agreement with whatever platform sends it.
Two weeks in, the list is pulled and cleaned, the first letter has gone out, and bookings from it are attributed.
